With top 10 hits in Australia’s Official Music Charts, this accomplished DJ & producer Nick Galea is rapidly rising to fame. His first EP titled ‘The Brisbane Empire EP’, released in 2005, showcases the diversity of this young producer’s work.
Since his debut release, Nick has been busy producing further original material and officially remixing artists such as X-press 2 (SKINT), Scenario Rock (Sony BMG), Mark Dynamix & Jaytech (Hussle/Ministry of Sound), The Potbelleez (Vicious), The Remote (Global Underground) and many more.
Having been championed on Channel 10’s Big Brother program, Nick and fellow DJ and studio partner Matt Nugent had chart success with remixes ‘Junkyard’ (Potbelleez) and ‘Destructor’ (Mark Dynamix & Jaytech), which also featured on Ministry of Sound ‘Diskotek’ release.
With a weekly residency at Brisbane’s newest super club The Met Nick has played with top names such as Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman and Jody Wisternoff.
